Dawn (2023) is part of a small collection of mixed media artworks under the theme, Biotic / Abiotic, that depict lush, abstracted particles of water, foliage, clouds, sunlight and flowers inspired by the interdependence of nature’s fragments and its domino effect on a macro scale. These mixed media pieces celebrate nature’s vibrancy and the tiny, yet maximalist universes that sometimes go unseen. Improvised and meditative, the artworks uncover layers upon layers of delicate mark-making over time.
