Linn Flammier
Linn asked us to help her produce her exhibition that was showcased the Post Office. Linn is a freelance fashion photographer and film maker primarily based in Hamburg, Germany. For the past 12 years though, she has been based in both the UK and Spain alike, working mainly commercially with fashion and advertising. She has most recently exhibited under Paris Photo and this was her third exhibition in Cape Town.
Linn has a very personal cinematographic style, inspired by the 1940’s cinema noir, and reminiscent of certain voyeurism a la Hitchcock. Her work comes in forms of series and leads one to reflect upon the relationship between the medium of the stills and the moving image.
